A future without factory farming

A Future Without Factory Farming is a downloadable booklet of scientific evidence showing why we need to scrap factory farming and increase plant-based farming - for animals, people and the planet.

In it we explore how getting rid of factory farming will help to:

  • Improve food security
  • Lower emissions and achieve net zero
  • Free up land for rewilding, and help nature and biodiversity
  • Stop water pollution from manure
  • Reduce air pollution
  • Promote healthy eating
  • Reduce pandemic risk
  • Save vital antibiotics for people
  • Prevent the suffering of millions of animals

We also look at the costs of factory farming and make recommendations for policy makers.
